The Ohio Elks Association provides Community Service Grants to purchase equipment for a Municipality, Police Department, Fire Department, Park Department etc., which they would not otherwise be able to purchase, which will allow them to do their jobs better.

The maximum amount for each grant is $1,000. There are four (4) grants earmarked for each District.  Applications can be submitted any time beginning May 15, 2024. Applications will be reviewed and winners will be announced on June 15, 2024. Criteria for grants will be based on community impact, submissions from the previous year, and follow up paperwork returned to the State Chairman (including press releases, photos, charitable forms, etc.).

On July 15th, the earmarks will be removed.  If there are grants not awarded, any lodge that submitted their first application through this date, but didn’t receive a grant because their district had already claimed their four grants will now be considered for the remaining grant(s).
